Oase Zeolith is produced from high quality zeolite, a naturally occurring mineral characterised by its high absorption properties. Zeolith binds ammonium and phosphates and when used in combination with other filter media will actively support the biological balance in the aquarium. Through the active reduction of ammonia, Zeolith naturally helps reduce nitrate and phosphate levels within the aquarium which in turn reduces potential algae growth ensuring clean and clear water. To maintain the positive effect of Oase Zeolith, it should be replaced every 8-12 weeks.
Directions:
For best results, Oase Zeolith should be rinsed prior to use and placed in a position to maximise the through flow of water. This makes it ideal for use in an external canister filter, internal filter, hang on filter, or a trickle filter.
