- CHARACTERISTICS: The hand-made dressage girth is made out of genuine sheepskin and a durable quilted fabric. The buckles and D-rings are made out of stainless steel and guarantee durability. The wool is approximately 30 mm (1.2 inches) in length. The total length of the girth is measured from one buckle pin to the other.
- FIT:Our lambskin saddle girth offers exceptionally soft padding for your horse and helps reduce pressure marks. Both sides are slightly cut back, providing ample elbow clearance. The girth features a wider surface area along the horse’s sternum—the strongest point of contact—which helps distribute pressure evenly along its entire length.
- BENEFITS: Lambskin is ideal for saddle girths, as it is smooth and prevents chafing. It is also breathable and temperature-regulating, allowing air to circulate freely between the fibers. This makes our girth perfect for warm summer days—effectively absorbing sweat and keeping your horse’s skin dry. This lambskin girth is especially suitable for horses with sensitive skin.
- ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY: We are deeply committed to environmentally responsible production processes that minimize our ecological impact. Every step in the creation of this natural product is handcrafted and carried out in our own facilities, allowing us to ensure sustainability and maintain the highest quality standards throughout.
- CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Our lambskin dressage girth is machine-washable and can be tumble-dried without damage. To maintain its softness and elasticity, we recommend using our WERNER CHRIST C7 laundry detergent specifically designed for lambskin. Tumble drying helps keep the lambskin supple and comfortable for continued use.
