The Vortex Crossfire® HD 12-36x50 Spotting Scope Straight is a lightweight (31.2oz.), low cost option for anyone on a budget needing a packable scope. It sports a wide field of view (173' - 89' at 1000 yards), and long (18mm) eye relief. Its optics include Vortex HD Optical System glass that has anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. The rubber armored body is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed to be completely water- and fog proof. Crossfire spotters have multiple mounting options with a 1/4-20 screw mount hole in an Arca Swiss foot, so you can ignore a mount plate if you have an Arca Swiss compatible tripod head.
