This jewelry set is a vintage white filigree bead necklace and clip-on earrings set, a popular style in mid-20th century costume jewelry. The distinctive large, open-work beads are often described as "lantern" or "cage" style due to their intricate design.
Features
Design: The set features hollow white beads with detailed, lace-like filigree patterns set in a gold-tone metal.
Beads: It includes a mix of these ornate white beads, smaller white accent beads, and larger, faceted beads with an Aurora Borealis (AB) finish, giving them a subtle iridescence.
Hardware: The necklace closes with a hook clasp and extender chain, and the matching earrings are a clip-on style.
Origin: Similar sets are often found from jewelry makers like Monet, Amourelle, or are unsigned pieces from the Hong Kong costume jewelry industry of the era.
