Vallisneria Spiralis Leopard

Vallisneria Spiralis Leopard is an aquatic plant that is characterized by long, thin leaves with a distinctive pattern in varying shades of green, red, and brown. Similar to Val Spiralis, this jungle val adds extra visual interest to planted tanks. Combined with its easy care and adaptable nature, Vals are a popular pick for hobbyists of all skill levels. This aquarium plant is hardy, but grows best with low to moderate lighting and a nutrient-dense aquarium soil. CO2 injection isn't required, but will boost growth rate and overall appearance.

In aquascaping, Vallisneria Spiralis Leopard creates a dense backdrop that works lovely in planted aquariums. Like other jungle vallisneria, it is a large specimen and well-suited for larger tanks or even freshwater ponds. It adds movement while providing security for tropical fish and shrimp. If possible, we also recommend having a liquid plant fertilizer or root tabs or supplementation! Once established, trim it regularly! It will easily grow to the height of most tanks, if you let it.
