- 【Quick Locate Leaks】Boost leak tester kit is designed to accurately detect and locate leaks in the the turbocharger, cooling and emissions systems of most cars and light trucks. Whether you are concerned about loss of boost pressure, coolant leaks, or suspect issues with your turbocharger, it is the perfect solution. By identifying leaks promptly, you can restore your vehicle's performance, improve fuel efficiency, and prolong engine lifespan. It's a essential tool for any automotive enthusiast.
- 【4 Pairs of Stepped Adapters & Good Sealing Performance】Turbo boost leak tester's adapter adopts a stepped design. Each adapter features 3 size steps to fit different sizes of turbochargers, cooling or exhaust/emissions system pipes. The adapters are made of premium hard nylon and metal material and can be firmly mounted on different pipes, ensuring good sealing performance. Adapters O.D. range: 1-3/8", 1-9/16", 1-3/4"; 1-31/32", 2-1/8", 2-3/8"; 2-1/2", 2-3/4", 3"; and 3-1/8", 3-3/8", 3-1/2".
- 【Pressure Gauge with Pressure Regulator & Relief Valve】Turbo boost leak tester comes with a 0-6bar (0-86psi) pressure gauge, allowing you to observe system pressure at a glance. The pressure gauge has a pressure regulator.Pull it up and turn it to adjust pressure you need, press down to lock.It also has a pressure relief valve to prevent over pressure. If pressure is too high, you can reduce air pressure by pulling pressure relief valve(automatic pressure relief when pressure exceeds 36Psi/2.5Bar).
- 【Easy To Use】Plug the proper adapter into the inlet and outlet of the system. Turn the pressure regulator knob to set your desired pressure. Connect the pressure gauge to inlet adapter, and then connect to the shop air to pressurize the system. After pressurization, you can see if the gauge maintains pressure and listening for any leaks. If the pressure drops, the leaks can be easily found by hand or with spray.
- 【Warm Tips】When installing the adapter, the adapter connector needs to be locked with a hose clamp, otherwise the adapter connector will loosen or pop out under pressure. The maximum pressure of most vehicle turbocharging systems is approximately 15psi (1bar) to 25psi (1.7bar). Vehicle coolant systems are typically rated for 15psi. (Refer to vehicle manufacturer's data.) NOTE: Excessive pressure may damage system components.
- 【What You Get】This turbo system leakage tester comes with 4 pairs of stepped adapters (φ35mm -φ90mm), a pressure gauge with American air connector, a spare European air connector (Two specifications of air connectors eliminate your worry that your air compressor connector does not fit the turbo boost leak test kit). These turbo boost leak test tools are packaged in a heavy-duty blow-molded toolbox for safe storage, easy transportation and quick organization.
