Traynor YCV40WR Amp in Wine Red

The YCV40WR is based on of the extremely popular YCV40, which was a Guitar Player Editor's Pick Award Winner. Real tube overdrive is produced by 3 Sovtek 12AX7WA preamp tubes while 2 - 5881s deliver 40W of real tube power. A 12'' Celestion Vintage 30 speaker faithfully renders all that sweet tube tone. Wine-red leatherette, oatmeal grille, and chrome plated corners give it a rich boutique look. The 3 basic tones--clean, crunch, and overdrive--are easily defined, with great tone at low levels, shine and punch at full tilt. Although signal-to-noise is not normally a specification that is discussed where guitar amplifiers are concerned, the ultra-quiet Custom Valve 40WR makes it an issue. Auto-matching tube circuit and the DC filaments on the preamp tubes all but eliminate hum. A 1x12'' extension cabinet is also available with the same cosmetics and Celestion Vintage 30 12'' speaker (YCX12WR).

• Auto-matching tube circuit maintains bias balance as tubes age, ensuring hum-free performance throughout tube life
• DC filaments on preamp tubes eliminate hum
• Fully regulated power supply with tube rectifier emulation
• Long Accutronics spring reverb
• Dual-channel footswitch
