The Posh Pup and the Country Canine: Darcy-Jane's Country Adventure

Dr. Nancy Rodgers Mason is an educator, lifelong lover of children’s literature, and author of The Posh Pup & Country Canine series. After more than thirty years in education, she was inspired to write the story that had lived in her heart for many years—one rooted in the real-life friendship between two beloved family pets, Darcy-Jane and Reilly. Her writing celebrates themes of friendship, empathy, and the meaningful connections that shape our lives. Drawing from her experience as both an educator and devoted dog lover, Dr. Nancy creates stories that encourage young readers to explore new experiences with curiosity and kindness. She lives in Florida and cherishes spending time with family, her daughter, son-in-law, and beloved grand pups, who remind her every day of the unconditional love and quiet comfort only dogs can give.
