Spode Christmas Tree 8" Salad Plate, Set of 4 - Festive Holiday Earthenware Plate with Christmas Tree Design, Green Bordered Edges, Microwave, Dishwasher, Freezer, Oven Safe

Product Description Spode Christmas Tree Salad Plates, Set of 4 Amazon.com A holiday favorite since its introduction in 1938, Spode's Christmas Tree pattern is their most well known and widely collected holiday pattern. Evoking the holidays with a traditional evergreen, the pattern creates a warm, folksy Christmas feel that families will look forward to year after year and hold dearly in their memories for generations. The trademark tree, seemingly decorated by young hands and ringed with brightly wrapped presents underneath, stands cheerily in the center of every piece. Charming, crafty decorations encircle the tree and Santa himself--bag slung over his shoulder--stands at the top. For collecting fun, Spode adds new accessories to the pattern every year, allowing a cherished holiday tradition to grow with time. Match any piece to other items in the collection for seasonal dining merriment. No holiday meal is complete without a tasty salad. This set of 4 salad plates is a beautiful complement to the Christmas Tree collection and is a ready complement to the holiday feast. Each is 8 inches in diameter, an ample size for holding a healthy side salad. The plates are white with the pattern's calling-card Christmas tree design; the rim of the plate is kissed with a sprig of holly, and the edges are circled in a rich green border, creating a simple and vibrant holiday look. Coordinate with any other accessories in the Christmas Tree pattern. Made in England of Imperialware, Spode's high-quality earthenware, the plates are safe for the oven, dishwasher, freezer, and microwave. Place in a cold oven and heat gradually up to 100 degrees C (about 200 degrees F); if using the dishwasher, contact Spode for a list of recommended detergents. --Jeff Dalto
