ShowDown - Load-Assist Kayak & SUP Roof Rack

The Yakima ShowDown is the first premium load-assist mount engineered to handle both heavy kayaks and SUPs with ease. If you’re tired of the "overhead heave," this system is your solution. The lightweight rack tilts down more than two feet from your vehicle’s roof rack, meeting you at a manageable height to make loading and unloading a breeze.

Don't let the sleek profile fool you. While the mount weighs only ~21 lbs, it is built burly enough to wrangle an 80 lb load. By taking on up to 45% of the boat's weight, the ShowDown helps you gently glide your gear to the top of your vehicle. Once in place, the integrated cradles securely "hug" your kayak or boards for a stable, wobble-free ride to the water.
