The extra-thick SHOWA 878 chemical and acid resistant glove offers superior protection against highly corrosive acids, ketones, and esters. Butyl rubber provides the highest permeation resistance to gases and water vapors of any material used to make gloves.
- Butyl Coated Gloves: butyl coated safety gloves are latex free and ideal for heavy chemical protection against ketones (MEK, acetone) and acids (Poor resistance to aliphatic hydrocarbons (hexane, diesel, gasoline), aromatic hydrocarbons (benzene, toluene, xylene) and halogenated solvents (chloroform and chlorobenzene)).
- Unlined which offers enhanced dexterity, comfort, and a more tactile feel
- Improved Grip: rough grip offers enhanced grip in wet and dry environments
- Maximum Comfort: these gloves are first flat dipped, then dipped again on an ergonomic, relaxed hand former allowing the glove to be in a normal resting shape, reducing hand fatigue
