The Free 18 poles are built for freeride and touring applications, offering extended versatility across terrain with a strong alloy build and adaptable features.
Why we like it:
With an 18 mm 7075 alloy shaft, extended foam grip and interchangeable basket system, these poles adjust easily to condition and style.
Who it's for:
Freeride or ski-touring skiers who want one solid pole that can go from steep resorts to backcountry terrain.
Highlights:
18 mm 7075 alloy shaft for strength and durability; extended foam grip for comfort on long climbs; basket system for adjusting between powder or firm snow use.
Things to consider:
Slightly heavier and less specialized than ultra-light carbon tour poles; if you stay strictly on resort groomers a simpler pole may suffice.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Available in standard ski pole lengths (for example ~110 cm+); match to your height and style or choose slightly longer for steep touring.
