As the temperature changes, these orbs rise and fall to indicate the current ambient temperature (within the range of 60˚F/16˚C - 96˚F/34˚C. <span>Under normal conditions, the orbs will separate into two groupings. To read the thermometer, you must observe the lowest orb within the top group. The temperature imprinted on the tag of that lower orb will be the current temperature of the liquid (within 2˚F/1˚C accuracy).
