Otzi Fatwood Natural Fire Tinder

The Otzi natural fatwood tinder is by far our favorite way to get wood fires cooking fast and easily without using artificial fire starters. Fatwood is a completely natural resin rich cut of wood made from the stumps of pine trees, perfect for kindling shavings. It burns long and hot and ignites easily. Our Wax Infused Jute Fire Tinder is an excellent companion for our fatwood tinder. Together they insure a good start even in wet difficult conditions. If you're a bushcraft enthusiast skilled with a ferro rod or primitive fire starting tools, or a camper looking for a natural option to start a wood fire with a lighter or matches the Otzi fatwood tinder block is a perfect addition to your kit.
