Bright metal fronts and gradient palettes on acetate temples create a playful profile in our Ball of Twine. Named perfectly for the scaled-down round shape, this frame lends an attitude of confidence and class to the exuberant colors. You’ll be one cool cat in these glasses.
Throw on Weird Al's famous tune and head to Darwin, MN to see the largest ball of twine. At 12 feet high, 40 feet around and weighing 9 tons, it was built by Francis A. Johnson who was following some motherly advice to not waste anything. Today, it still holds the record for heaviest and largest ball of twine made by a single contributor and is the focus of Twine Ball Days every August!
