Pascal Catry, a history enthusiast, manipulates time, encases it, and presents it unaltered. His strong urge to communicate led him to decipher the language of materials. His zinc works narrate tales: 'A dream of an ochre tile, stroked by wind, basking under intense sunlight, then resting in a gutter's embrace, cradle of its autumnal tears.' Marks left by these encounters, like scars, fuel Pascal Catry's inspiration. He wraps hidden treasures in zinc sheets, shielding them from our gaze, and presents them in a case that makes them precious and desirable once more. His art, accessible to all, appeals to the poetry within us.
