Unveil the enchantment of natural dyes and craft your unique custom-sewn garland or tote bag in this interactive camp! Led by Summer from TIGEROWL and Kat from KMOK Art, children will delve into the earthy magic of natural dyeing, exploring techniques such as Shibori, bundle dyeing with flora and foliage, and color blending. Kids can select the project that resonates with them most. This class harmonizes creativity and craftsmanship, imparting color mixing, dyeing, and sewing skills for a significant keepsake. Campers will also hone their sewing skills as they design and create personalized banners, embellishing them with stamps, beads, and other adornments. By week's end, each child will possess a stunning, nature-inspired textile art piece to display proudly.
