K.B. Crystal Oak

Why it rocks:

K.B. Crystal Oak is part of the Chicagoland Grows® plant introduction program. Selected for its narrow form and glossy green leaves. K.B. Crystal Oak is a new Swamp White Oak variety with a more distinct narrow shape and shiner leaves. Its dark, glossy green leaves add attractive color and texture to the landscape.

Where to put it:

Due to its more tightly branched mature form, this tree is a top choice for residential landscapes and tight parkways. Plant this tree anywhere shade and beauty are needed. Be sure to plant this tree at least 10 Ft from buildings.

What it needs:

K.B. Crystal Oak will do well in a variety of site conditions. Be sure to follow our tree care instructions for the first few growing seasons until the root system is well-established.
