- Your JK or JKU front turn signal is not working because of a burnt connector. This JK front turn signal bulb socket will solve the problem.
- Direct replacement, make sure the bulb 'clicks' into the socket. it's a tight fit and if it doesn't 'click' into place the moment your hit your brakes the bulb will come out of the socket.
- Installation is straight forward plug-in-play and takes a couple minutes: You don't even have to pop the hood to get to the parking and turn signal socket, remove the part from headlamp twisting a quarter turn counter clockwise. Test the bulb connection before replacing the unit as it requires some pressure inserting it.
- Tips: You don't even have to pop the hood to get to it, reach in through the wheel arch grabbing the turn signal socket the wiring harness will have a locking tab on it. you push down on that tab as you pull out and keep it unlocked. rotate the socket about 30 to 45 degrees and then pull out. The socket seal may be a lot tighter than your old part. so you need to push a little to get it to fit. Obviously, the tighter seal should do a better job of keeping all that rain and mud out with the socket.
