- You'll get 3 hand-forged nails. In this era of "everything is fast", this is a lost skill and craft. Hand-forged nails are made by traditional handicrafts. Each nail is treated with our unique black anti-rust coating, providing protection and extending service life without dirting hands. It requires almost no maintenance and is permanent. If you want to purchase products without protective coatings, please search for ASIN: B0F8JKV9T5 on the website
- These are real "hand forged nails". These are forged, heated to a high temperature and then hammered out into place. They have (4) sides and the nail heads are hammered into a head at one end to make the head. They are all one piece design, (not welded together) or machined like today's hardware and nails. The bodies are larger on the nail head end and are hammered down to make the opposite end smaller to a pointed end. They are approx 1/4" square in the nail centers. They came with a nice smooth black painted anti-rust finish and a bit shinny in a nice gift box. These are well made and solid iron material. These will certainly be used for a very special cause for many years to come
- The hand-forged nails are 0.8 inches in diameter, Almost as big as a 5-cent coin, 6 to 7 inches in length, and keep the tips obtuse, so there are no surprises! Because it is handmade, the length and head of each iron nail will be slightly different
- Hand forged nails are easy to install by tapping them into the surface with a hammer or drilling a small guide hole and striking the nail head. If using very hard wood (such as maple), consider using a larger guide hole and a softer hammer to strike the surface. If there is no hammer with a soft head, it is recommended that you use a piece of wood between the hammer and the nail, so as to avoid creating marks on the nail head
- The symbolic weight of these "Jesus Passion Type" iron nails is profound. They serve as a tangible and solemn reminder of the crucifixion, inviting contemplation and reflection on the sacrifice and spiritual significance they represent. This direct connection to a central tenet of Christian faith makes them incredibly impactful for personal devotion, prayer corners, or as a focal point during religious services. They are perfect for use in churches during Lenten or Easter displays, adding a powerful visual element to altar decorations or Passion plays
- For Christian families, they serve as a meaningful piece of home decor, bringing spiritual depth to a living room, study, or prayer space. They also make deeply thoughtful gifts for occasions like Easter, Christmas, confirmations, or as a comforting gesture during times of remembrance, offering a tangible symbol of faith and hope. For anyone seeking a high-quality, authentic, and profoundly symbolic piece of religious decor, the TRASEXTRA Hand Forged Cross Iron Nails are an outstanding choice. They are a dignified and enduring representation of faith that brings a solemn beauty and meaningful connection to sacred traditions
