These quilt blankets are traditionally made from layers of recycled vintage cotton saris which are then embroidered with a simple running stitch known as Kantha Embroidery. The art of Kantha originated among the rural women's of India. Possible little imperfections like old stains and different fabric patches may be observed as these are made using vintage saris. Embellished with colorful pom pom fringes lace these kantha blankets looks truly traditional. Each of our baby blankets will bring joy and delight. Each baby quilt is handmade and hand stitched by women artisans in India. These can be used as a blanket, quilt, throw, picninc rug, home decorations, jacket fabric, dress material etc. Note-: These are made by recycled sari fabric so quilt may have some imperfections in the patches and may have slight odour which will vanish once the balnket is put under direct sunlight for a few hours.
