Harris® Safety-Silv® 45 high silver brazing alloy filler metal strip .005" x 1/4" flat available in various lengths is an excellent general-purpose alloy with good ductility, joint strength and capillary flow. It is a popular choice for brazing copper, brass, steel, and stainless steel. Safety-Silv® 45 is a cadmium-free filler metal with a melting range of approximately 145°F. It provides good fillet forming qualities and is suitable for filling loose connections. Preferred base metal clearance range is .003"-.006" Color is silver to light yellow. Conforms to the EU Reach and RoHS directive.
