Gucci Blue & Beyond glasses combine both a photochromic lens and a blue light coating to create an unrivalled visual experience.

The blue light coating on the lenses is specifically designed to reduce the amount of blue light that reaches the eye. Theses lenses filter blue light rays to help prevent them from entering your eye and passing though the cornea and retina, which is believed to affect the light sensitive cells in the retina. This can cause migraines, poor sleep and eye strain.

Photochromic is a type of optical lens which darkens when exposed to UV light. The lenses will remain transparent in a normal to dark, or indoor environment, whereas when worn outside as your surroundings get brighter the lenses will darken activating the suns ultraviolet radiation.
