Gray Poodle Travel Companion by Conversation Concepts

The Poodle, hailing from Germany, was initially bred as a water dog. Strategic coat patches were left longer to insulate vital body parts in cold water. Poodles come in solid colors like white, black, apricot, and gray, and three sizes: Standard (11-12 years, over 15 inches), Miniature (14-15 years, 10-15 inches), and Toy (up to 20 years, under 10 inches). Standards are the second most intelligent breed, after Border Collies. Poodles have a dense, curly, single-layer coat that sheds minimally but requires regular grooming. The AKC recognized Poodles in 1887, contributing to their popularity.
