God's Power For Our Daily Battles: A Spiritual Warfare Verse Of The Day

I love the story of David and Goliath. David said, “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine?” That meant, “Who does this guy think he is? He is NOT in covenant with God! He doesn’t stand a chance, because I AM in covenant with the one and only true and living God! Give me my slingshot and five stones!” (My paraphrase.) David didn’t care if the enemy was THIRTY feet tall, because, without God, he didn’t stand a CHANCE against a man was IS in covenant with God! Also, have you ever wondered why David took five stones with him? Goliath had four brothers. David figured the brothers would attack once he had killed Goliath, so he needed one stone for each giant. THAT’S the kind of faith I want to have. This book is designed to give you daily encouragement for the giants YOU face, no matter WHAT they are—financial giants, emotional giants, physical giants, or spiritual giants. With GOD on YOUR side, the enemy doesn’t stand a CHANCE! Read more
