FrogTape Pro Grade Deck and Joist Flashing Tape - 12 Inch Width (12 in. x 50 ft) - All Weather & UV Resistant Linerless Tape for Decking, Wood, Beams with Advanced Acrylic Adhesive - 13 mils - Black

All-weather, high-performance FrogTape Pro Grade Deck and Joist Flashing Tape is ideal for waterproofing deck joists, stair stringers and ledger boards with a layer of protection in residential construction applications. This deck joist tape combines ShurGRIP high-performance acrylic adhesive with a conformable film backing that easily bends around edges, corners and other building transitions. Engineered using exclusive UV curing technology, this flashing tape does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and won't react with caulking and sealants, ensuring durable bonds after installation.

• CREATE WATERPROOF SEALS: Flashing tape provides waterproof seal with all-weather performance; long-term performance in temperatures ranging from -40 F (-40 C) to 240 F (115 C); 12-month UV resistance
• PROTECT DECKING COMPONENTS: Ideal for covering deck joists, stair stringers and ledger boards with a layer of waterproof protection; offers excellent conformability for bending around edges and corners
• FAST AND EASY INSTALL: No primers needed for installation; hassle-free installation in extreme climates and temperatures ranging from 0 F (-18 C) to 150 F (65 C); adhesive will not freeze in cold temperatures or melt and become messy in hot temperatures
• ADVANCED ACRYLIC ADHESIVE: Initially repositionable adhesion to building materials and substrates such as pressure-treated wood, OSB, concrete and more and compatible with sealants and caulking; flashing tape seals and self-heals around nails, screws and other fasteners
• SLOWS THE SPREAD OF MOISTURE: When properly installed, waterproof tape keeps water and moisture from penetrating through deck components; protects against structural decay
• INSTALLATION TIP: Best practice is to apply sufficient pressure along the entire length of the tape using a roller or squeegee to ensure adhesion and a continuous seal; eliminate any wrinkles, creases or trapped air beneath the tape; available in 1.89 in, 3.78 in, 6 in and 12 in widths to suit the needs of any job
