The mind of a teenage girl is a labyrinth. Take it from one who is lost in the maze herself. You can find her in the crevices of daydreams, pondering the grandest philosophical queries or a passing glance from the boy across the classroom. She tries to decode love, religion, and morality. With this, these works are raw, unconnected, and not written with the intention of quantity.A part-time job at a local boutique was sore feet and particular middle-age mothers. The cash register saw her hide her phone behind the counter, subtly rehearse dance steps, and tweak unfinished essays. What other to do with the thoughts than to print blank receipts and pour out her thoughts via a black ink pen.These are pieces that started out as scribble on thin white lengths of paper, but they are no different than the paintings and songs in her mind. She hopes another individual with gaping worlds in their heads having to function in the real one can read these and realize they are not alone up in the clouds. Read more
