Sports Basement is proud to offer Bosch powered pedal assist electric bikes from Scott, Aventon and Troxus. These are the perfect bikes to travel around the Presidio, Golden Gate Park, and over the Golden Gate Bridge. If you are concerned about making it up our hills, these bikes will give you the extra push you need to make it!
Our electric bikes run on the Bosch center drive system which is the industry standard as well as the most reliable version currently on the market. These are pedal assist NOT full power...you still have to pedal. The bikes have 4 modes including eco, tour, sport and turbo and a max range of about over 50 miles on the eco setting. Range will vary by setting and use.
Most of our e-Bikes are step through models. Let us know if you have a preference.
Rental includes a helmet and a lock. Helmets are required to ride!
- Riders must be age 16 or older.
This bike requires a $1000 pre-authorization on a physical credit card and a matching ID.
- All bikes must be returned before store closing on your LAST RENTAL DAY to avoid additional rental charges.
There is no sales tax charged on SB Rentals (Save ~10% compared to other rental companies!)
