Startup-tec® proactive startup treatment utilizes an advanced startup method which provides for a nearly brushless, non-acid startup of a new pool. Startup-tec® eliminates 95% or more of plaster dust formation associated with new pool startups. It also eliminates the 1 to 2 weeks of tedious brushing new pool owners are burdened with. Startup-tec® not only prevents most plaster dust formation, but also helps to significantly reduce mottling discoloration and staining issues that often plague white, grey, and colored finishes. The product helps to reduce the amount of acid used during "hot startups" to expose many types of interior finishes such as quartz aggregates.
- Dust-Free Startups: 90%-100% less dust and brushing
- Mottling Reduction: Minimizes discoloration on all finishes
- Eliminates "Hot Startups": Preserves quartz and aggregates
- Metal Ion Sequestration: Prevents staining and calcium film
