Dowling Magnets Science Discovery Kit: Magnet Levitation, Magnetic Levitation Train Kit (Science Experiments). Item 731100

Explore the wonders of magnets! investigate the mysteries of equilibrium, gravity, and magnetism as you make leaning magnets magically Float without touching, and then build your own magnetic levitating train. Includes neodymium and ceramic magnets, high-force magnet strip, iron fillings, plastic guide rails, compass, wood, nails, and activity guide with 5 experiments, 5 projects, glossary, and more. Some additional household supplies required. Created by a high school science teacher who really knows his stuff. Comprehensive activity guide (5 experiments, 5 projects, glossary, and more) is carefully designed to boost older children's prior knowledge of the BASICS of magnetism before they jump into the more complex projects included. Great for STEM and science fair projects! Assembly requires parent or teacher participation. Usage tips: avoid dropping and banging. Magnets that have been dropped or impacted by force can break and/or lose their magnetism-their domains can get misaligned. Storage: store all magnets away from electronics, high heat, and direct sunlight. Child safety tested for ages 10+/grades 5+.
