The Davis Daytime Fan Aspirated Radiation Shield Kit is an accessory upgrade designed to improve the temperature and humidity measurement accuracy of Davis weather stations, particularly the Vantage Pro2 and Vantage Pro2 Plus sensor suites. This kit uses a solar‑powered fan to pull external air across the sensors during daylight hours, reducing the effects of direct solar radiation on readings — a common source of false high temperatures in passive shield setups.
- Add the benefits of fan aspiration to your wireless or cabled vantage Pro2 or Pro2 plus
- Half the cost of our 24-hour fan aspirated radiation shield, but nearly 75 percent as effective in reducing the effects of daytime radiation
- Product type: fan aspiration kit
- Country of origin: United States
