D'Addario NS Electric Contemporary Bass Single G String, 3/4 Scale, Medium Tension

Prelude bass strings are multi-stranded steel core strings that produce a warm tone quality with good bow response. The special core design and reduced tension makes for strings that are very easy to play, especially for developing players. Prelude bass strings maintain a clear, warm sound that blends well across the ensemble. The 3/4 scale strings are gauged specifically for 3/4 size bass with a playing length of 41 3/4 inches (1060mm).

• <p>This Contemporary Double Bass G string produces a brighter sound and is lower tension than the Traditional Double Bass Set. Designed for electric upright basses with standard playing lengths, but shorter overall lengths (no tailpiece). </p><p>Designed in partnership with Ned Steinberger and NS Design, the D'Addario NS Electric Strings can be used on electric instruments to bring out the best in them. Each string is designed to enhance the expressive range of tone sought after by the most discerning players. The set consists of regular tuning strings (G, D, A, E).
