CRYO HOPS LupuLN2 Mosaic Pellet Hops - 1 oz
The most innovative hop product available! Using a cutting edge cryogenic process, lupulin and bract is separated from whole leaf hops to create concentrated lupulin glands. These hop pellets contain twice the resin content of traditional hop pellets, allowing you to get a huge doses of hops with little vegetal matter. A great choice for making hop-forward beers with big juicy, resinous aromas and tastes. It is recommended to use half the normal dose of hops and to not use CRYO HOPS for bittering purposes due to boiling out the intense aromas.
As a daughter of Simcoe, Mosaic offers a rich line of hop heritage including Tomahawk and Nugget. It features relatively high alpha acids and low cohumulone contents and displays an array of enticing aromas that transfer nicely into the finished product. Brewers have noted that Mosaic is a "complexity of flavors" providing a "powerful combination punch of pine and fruit." Typical beer styles that utilize this hop include ales, pale ales, IPAs.
