Continental 2000WH 20-Gallon Huskee LLDPE Waste Receptacle, Round, White

The Continental Huskee waste receptacle is a round, NSF/ANSI-approved, LLDPE trash can with molded handles that help with lifting and allow nesting multiple receptacles for storage without jamming, rolled rims for added strength, and a seamless design. LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene) resists chipping, cracking, denting, warping, and UV damage better than LDPE (low-density polyethylene). The container is compatible with Huskee round waste lids (sold separately), which snap in place to contain odors and debris within the can and keep pests out. It is stackable with a lid on and nestable without a lid for storage, and its seamless design increases durability and facilitates cleaning. The waste receptacle is suitable for use in food handling, recyclable collection, and hospital, biohazard, and commercial refuse applications, among others. This trash can meets National Sanitation Foundation International/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) 21-2012 for thermoplastic refuse containers.Trash cans are used for the disposal and temporary storage of garbage. They are typically made of plastic or metal and sometimes have a top or lid to contain odors and waste. Certain garbage cans meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for the disposal of medical waste or National Sanitation Foundation/American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) requirements for food handling and processing. Others include a lock to prevent unauthorized access, safeguard confidential materials, and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) requirements. Waste bins can also be color-coded to facilitate the separation of recyclable waste, such as bottles, cans, paper, and general refuse. Ash/trash cans typically include an ash tray on top for cigarette disposal. Trash cans are used in virtually all commercial and industrial environments.Continental manufactures plastic and metal products such as restroom supplies, buckets, refuse containers, carts, and trigger sprayers for the janitorial and food service industries.
