C&N Footlockers Wheel Away System - Durable 4" Wheels - Easy Install - Makes Transportation a Breeze

Between Opening Day and Closing Day of summer camp, some folks end up moving their trunks as much as a mile just to get it from the parking lot to the cabin and back. Move your trunk from Point A to Point B without hauling it—the C&N Wheel Away System that features large, 4″ PVC wheels is a revolutionary solution for summer campers moving a fully-packed footlocker across campgrounds and other rough terrain. It is THE EASIEST way to transport your trunk! You wouldn’t want to free carry a fully-loaded suitcase through a busy airport. It’s no different for your camper moving their trunk at camp? It’s so much easier to wheel it! Make transportation of your child’s camp trunk an easy, one-person job 4" high wheels that are positioned for clearance of any rocks or uneven ground that may be in the way. Along with every other trunk manufacturer, we used to permanently attach wheels to our trunks. The trouble with permanent wheels is that, with all the handling and travel trunks go through—being thrown into car trunks, shipping on airlines, getting hauled in and out of camp, kids jumping off the top bunk onto their trunk—the wheels tend to get damaged. And, with them being permanently attached, damaged wheels render the whole trunk useless. When we install the simple steel bracket of the Wheel Away System, there’s no additional height to your trunk. The spring-loaded ball bearing on the shaft of the wheel clicks into a locked position when you pop it into either end of the steel bracket, ensuring that your wheels will stay in place during transportation! The wheels instantly go on and they remove just as easily with an easy tug—no tools required. Once in the cabin take the wheels and store them away in the handy cinch sack until it’s time to head home. Please note: The footlocker shown is not included. The Wheel Away System includes the bracket, a set of wheels, and a cinch sack. The Wheel Away System only works on C&N Footlockers.
