Oase Carbon Filter Media is an important component in the aquarium filtration process to ensure healthy, crystal clear water. Oase Activated Carbon is supplied in a highly efficient flake format to provide effective chemical filtration in aquarium filters. Thanks to the optimal pore structure, Oase Carbon absorbs both organic substances and colourants as well as heavy metals, odours and pollutants that may be present in water. Carbon is also ideally suited after the use of water treatments for binding medicine and active pharmaceutical residues. To maintain the absorption effect, activated carbon should be replaced regularly.

Directions:
For best results, Oase Carbon should be rinsed prior to use and placed in a position to maximise the through flow of water. This makes it ideal for use in an external canister filter, internal filter, hang on filter, or a trickle filter.
