Bionova MgO 10 is mostly used when a deficiency occurs. When using Bionova's main fertilizers and stimulators, there is always the right amount of Magnesium, except when cultivating with osmoses water.

What is Bionova MgO 10?

A deficiency of magnesium manifests itself in chlorosis (slight decolourisations) between the nerves of old leaves. An excess results into an ill-growing crop and small leaves! Plants directly absorb all food grade minerals giving you optimal control of your cultivation. Magnesium in Bionova MgO 10 forms the reactive nuclei in the chlorophyll, which converts light energy into chemical energy (ATP and ADP).

Tips from Bionova growers

• When plants present generalized chlorosis on leaves and flowers with subsequent dried leafs, the magnesium (Mg) is not enough to guarantee high level of chlorophyll. Consequently the photosynthesis slows down until the leaves die. The symptoms on flowers are recognizable due to the smaller size and lighter colours on them. To cure the deficiency apply Bionova MgO 10 to the cultivation, by root or leaf. To quickly recover plants from the nutritional shortage.

Technical specifications

Application in irrigation : In case of deficiencies add 2.5-10 ml. per 10 liters of water. When using Reverse Osmosis Water add 10-20ml per 10 liters of water. A dosage of 1:1000 increases the total amount of Mg by 2 mmol.
