If you're going to use a sponge filter in your aquarium why not use the best filter in the business?
Why is it the best? Where do I start:
1. These filters are made with the finest foam in the industry to pick up even the finest particles floating around in your tank.
2. With the fine foam that is used it will not only do a better job at keeping your aquarium clean but it also provides much more surface area for the growth of beneficial bacteria.
3. Less maintenance, the fine foam means more particles will be trapped in it meaning you can allow more time to pass between maintenance.
4. The new base which is full of aquarium gravel provides even more surface area for bacteria.
5. The nice gray color will blend in nicely in the background of your aquarium, if you have to have a filter inside your aquarium, why would you want some bright color that makes it stand out.
6. This product is made ENTIRELY in the good ole United States of America! It's difficult to find products in this industry that are made in the USA, the vast majority of aquarium products out there are made super cheap in China where they have virtually no regulations and requirements and certainly little quality control.
