Air Force 1 Low LV8 GS "Ken Griffey Jr" DJ5195 100

The Nike Air Force 1 Low GS “Ken Griffey Jr.” is the youth sizing of the colorway of the iconic low-top shoe that honors the baseball legacies of Ken Griffey Jr. and his father, Ken Griffrey Sr. Memorably, the father-son duo briefly played together on the Seattle Mariners while the younger Griffey was in the early stages of his illustrious career. This “Ken Griffrey Jr.” Air Force 1 pays homage to the era in Mariners baseball with baseball-inspired branding and graphics. The upper features a buttery white leather construction. A black tumbled leather Swoosh appears on both sides and “Nike Air Force 1” branding can be found on the black nylon tongue tag. A small teal Swoosh with yellow outlining is embroidered on the forefoot. The design features the Mariners' then-team uniform colors of blue and yellow. “24” and “30” embroidery on the lateral heel of the left and right shoe, respectively, represent the numbers worn by Griffey Jr. and Griffey Sr. with the Mariners. Moreover, “Jr.” and “Sr.” branding appears on the back of the left and right heel tabs that feature the aforementioned numbers. Baseball-inspired red stitching appears on the heel and completes the look. Release date: Spring 2021.
