- Each order includes ONE 15.5-inch strand of natural spiny oyster shell rondelle beads. These are not ready-to-wear but made for crafting necklaces, bracelets, or earrings. Beads feature rounded edges, consistent thickness, and 1.5mm holes, perfect for stringing onto most cords, wires, or elastic for custom designs. [Photos may show multiple strands for visual reference only — this listing includes one strand per order]
- Our shells come from mature spiny oysters sustainably harvested in the Sea of Cortez—not from Asia, and never from baby shells. Each bead is hand-cut and polished in small batches with no chemical treatments, preserving the shell’s natural shine, color, and texture. You get premium quality with real ethical value.
- Spiny oyster shell is naturally rare and seasonally harvested, protected by strict regulations. Its intense orange, red, and purple tones are hard to find and cannot be easily duplicated. These beads are not dyed or altered—just the pure, vibrant color of the ocean, making every strand a collectible material for custom jewelry.
- For centuries, spiny oyster has been prized in Native American jewelry, especially in Navajo and Zuni traditions. These beads reflect that heritage with authentic materials and classic rondelle shape, making them perfect for Southwest designs, cultural projects, or collectors who value history and craftsmanship.
